Atlanta Botanical Gardens

Construction for a new Café building and addition to the existing Garden House Office is all part of a multimillion dollar revamp project entitled “Nourish and Flourish”.   Since its’ incorporation in 1976, the Atlanta Botanical Garden has undergone many expansions and added attractions for the entire family.

New South contracted with Sinclair Construction Group for a turn-key concrete package including layout, shallow foundations, concrete walls, slab on grade, spread footings, turndowns, place and finish, slab on metal deck, pan -filled stairs, elevator pit, piers and curbs. Use of conveyor trucks and boom pumps were critical due to lack of space and access.

The mission of the Atlanta Botanical Garden as a non-profit is to develop and maintain plant collections for display, education, research, conservation and enjoyment.
