Sinclair CG Successfully completes Concrete Installation and Renovation Job at Coca Cola Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia
Atlanta, Georgia (November 2015) – Sinclair Construction Group has successfully installed multiple concrete components at Workplace 2020 – a renovation project across Coca Cola’s 2,000,000 SF headquarters in downtown Atlanta, GA.
This project included many challenges that required work to be completed both day and night while minimizing construction disruptions to an active workplace environment. Access was tight in many areas, but Sinclair was able to properly plan and implement cost saving value engineering solutions like constructing a fully custom designed chute that allowed for stone to be passed between floors easily. Other concrete installation work included demo for footings needed under new columns, slab on grade, slab on metal deck with slopes and depressions, miscellaneous fill-ins, equipment pads, site walls, sidewalk, and the main ‘Brand Staircase’ seen in the front lobby.
