Center for Puppetry Arts

Sinclair Construction performed turnkey concrete foundations for the newly expanded museum space, as well as a renovated entryway, expanded museum store, and new research library, along with a few other exciting updates to the existing center. With spread footings measuring up to 36’ x 9’ x 2’-5”, Sinclair also installed concrete piers, slab on grade reinforced with Forta-Ferro © Macrofiber, as well as a lightweight slab on metal deck.

Given the downtown location along a busy main street, timing and logistics were crucial to the development of each construction phase. Our team worked diligently to ensure no delays were incurred.

All the construction was phased to allow the center to remain open throughout the entire process.

The expansion contains the largest collection of Jim Henson’s art.
