This project consisted of an expansion to the existing loading dock/apron and maintenance shop, and dolly pads for site trailer parking totaling approximately 85,000 SF.
Sinclair provided turnkey concrete foundations and flatwork services for the duration of the project working closely with the Contractor and the Owner on all aspects of the construction and development of the site.
Our turnkey approach included saw cutting/select demolition, shallow foundations and CIP walls, slabs on grade and concrete paving.
The concrete slabs on grade and concrete paving included the use of Forta-Ferro macro fibers into the concrete mix design at a rate of 3 lbs per CY to control cracking and add long term durability. Since FORTA’s beginning in 1978, its fibers have played an important role in the design and construction of many different types of projects.
