Situated on a 30-acre site, donated by Berry College, the new Rome Tennis Center will consist of 51 tennis courts and a 3,846sf clubhouse with a large panoramic porch that overlooks the exhibition court. The entire design is ADA accessible to accommodate sports chairs for adaptive tennis. Space allocates for future construction of 9 additional outdoor courts and 6 indoor courts.
Sinclair Construction Group performed a turn-key site concrete package that included select grading, cast-in-place walls, spread footings, slab on grade, seat walls, place and finish work, and approximately 2-1/2 miles of sidewalks. A boom pump was used to convey concrete to the clubhouse slab on grade as well as the CIP site wall.
The new Rome Tennis Center at Berry College will be conveniently located at the Armuchee Connector at GA Highway 27, central to Birmingham, Atlanta, and Chattanooga.
