Sinclair Construction Group wins First Place in the Parking Lot Category for the Affinius Capital Live Oak Logistics Project
Atlanta, GA (March 2024) – Sinclair Construction Group once again took home First Place in the Parking Lot Category at this year’s 2024 Georgia Chapter ACI Dan R. Brown Awards Program. The 580,000 SF of pavement was specifically designed for Affinius Capital’s Live Oak Logistics warehouse facility. Notable design improvements included the following eliminations: 38,600 LF of sawcut joints, 77,200 LF of dowel baskets, 3,575 CY of concrete, and embodied CO2 reduction of 59% versus the ordinary concrete pavement system specified. The optimized design has a 2x life expectancy with 3x truck capacity over the ordinary concrete design.
